How it Works

How much can a helicopter lift?

We primarily use the Airbus H125, which can lift up to 1 tonne. If heavier loads are required, we have access to larger aircraft capable of lifting up to 4 tonnes.

Where can you use a helicopter for lifting?

Helicopter lifts are most useful in remote or hard-to-reach areas where conventional cranes or ground transport can’t operate efficiently, such as mountainous regions, dense forests, or urban environments with limited space, and road closures are needed.

Is helicopter lifting cost-effective?

Helicopter lifting can save money, time and labor in difficult locations or where speed is crucial. When traditional methods become too complex or slow, helicopter lifting can be more economical overall.

Is helicopter lifting safe?

Yes, provided it’s done with proper planning, experienced pilots, and strict safety protocols. Rigorous equipment checks, well-coordinated ground crews, and adherence to aviation regulations are key to minimising risks.

Why Choose a Helicopter Over a Crane?

At Parker Aero, efficiency is our specialty. What might take an entire day with traditional cranes can be completed in as little as one hour with our aerial crane services. By eliminating the need for extensive ground setup, road closures, and logistical delays, we ensure your project is completed faster, safer, and with minimal disruption. When time matters, Parker Aero delivers.

Apex Facades

The glass lift in the heart of Brisbane was the most challenging job we’ve ever taken on, but watching Brendan at work was something else. The way he operated the helicopter with surgical precision guiding massive glass panels through a rooftop opening and placing them onto an A-frame was nothing short of masterful. His professionalism and control under pressure made the impossible look easy, and it was a pleasure to witness such skill in action.
